About Us

When I was 15-years old, I began engaging in car photography as I attended trade highschool. Being in the car scene opened a new world up to me where I got to watch “regular” people work on their own vehicles rather than bringing them into shops, mechanics, and dealers. When I was about 17-years old, I decided to pull the trigger and purchase my own vehicle that I wanted to modify (a Nissan D21). The amount of hours I spent pouring over the internet, and asking friends for help/advice to be able to work on the car myself was insane! Nearly every day after school I was working on that truck. I started to realize, not only, that I enjoyed it, but I was pretty good at it! From there, my desire to work on cars increased though I never would have imagined it would turn it into my life career; so, I did a couple years in college for business, then managed a couple shops/used car lots just to realize the desk life wasn't for me. I now realize those experiences were just to set me up to what is now Done Right Automotive.

I am part of a big blue collar family - carpenters, mechanics, electricians and such. I have always known and been around folks that worked with their hands. For that very same reason I attended college, I wanted to work within corporate America, clock in clock out and not get my hands dirty.

I have an associates degree in business and accounting, I started managing my first shop right after I finished my degree and this is where most of my real learning happened. Customer service, business insights, repairs and car sales became my niche. Of course this was all until I moved from my home state to Virginia where I would acquire my salesman license and continue with what I was doing, but the dynamic was different. Then the COVID-19 pandemic began. I would sell cars during the day and fix the cars at night, and the pandemic brought alongside many challenges we are all familiar with. So, while car sales went down, the need for repairs remained the same. I knew this is what I wanted to do and I truly enjoyed driving around and helping people save a couple bucks here and there.

More recently, I have enjoyed adding layers to my life through fatherhood and working with my local fire and emergency rescue squads as a volunteer.
